Looking for a charming and unique venue for a baby shower or bridal shower? Whether you’re planning an intimate celebration or a lively event, we have the perfect space for you.
Please note: We rent out our venue only during our off-season, and only indoor spaces are available during this time. (Half of December till the end of April. Half October till half November)
Rental Options & Pricing Venue Makkink’s Flower Farm.
- Basic Rental Option
- Rate: $75 per hour or $300 for 5 hours
- Includes:
- Use of the building, bathroom facilities, and two garbage pails
- Tables and chairs for up to 65 people
- Decorations (subject to availability)
- Background music selection
This is a great option if you’re bringing your own food and drinks.
- Standard Rental Option
- Rate: $100 per hour or $400 for 5 hours
- Includes everything in the Basic Rental Option, plus:
- Use of our certified kitchen, featuring:
- Fridge, freezer, coffee maker, stove, oven, air fryer, and dishwasher
- On-site assistance from one of our employees to guide you in using the kitchen appliances
- Use of our certified kitchen, featuring:
Ideal for events requiring refrigeration or warming up food.
. Premium Rental Option
- Rate: $125 per hour or $500 for 5 hours
- This package includes everything from the Basic and Standard Rental Options, along with these exclusive perks:
- Complimentary coffee and tea for your guests
- Use of our elegant floral dishware, including cups, utensils, glasses, and plates
- Dedicated service from one server who will:
- Serve complimentary coffee and tea.
- Manage dish clean-up.
- Can serve alcohol purchased from our farm (no need to provide your own liquor license or insurance, as we are fully licensed and insured to serve alcohol. See pricelist for alcohol)

Add on a Workshop
- Starting Price: $10 per person
- Description: A creative and engaging activity perfect for bringing people together. Crafting allows guests to connect, break the ice, and feel more comfortable—even if they don’t know each other well. Each participant leaves with a handmade keepsake they’ve created themselves.
Workshop Ideas:
- Fill a mason jar with beautiful flowers.
- Design a decorative dome with dried flowers.
- Explore other flower-themed crafts tailored to your event.
These workshops have consistently received great feedback for fostering connection and creating lasting memories.

- Pop: $1.75 per can/bottle
- Local Wine: $7.50 per glass
- Local Beer: $6.50 per can.
- Cheese Tray: $10 per person
- Sandwich Tray: $12.50 per person

Note: Clients are welcome to bring their own food and drinks.
Venue Capacity and Equipment
- Maximum Guests: 65 people.
- Makkink’s Flower Farm provides:
- 65 chairs/stools.
- 14 tables.
Payment and Fees
- Deposit: A non-refundable $50 deposit is required at booking to secure the event date. The remaining balance is due 10 days before the event.
- Additional Charges: Any add-ons or extra hours will be charged after the event and billed to the Client.
- Payment Methods: Cash, debit, credit, or e-transfer.
Cancellations and Changes
- A cancellation fee of 50% of the total rental fee applies if the event is canceled 7 days or more before the event.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 6 days before the event.
- Any changes to event details (guest count, services, etc.) must be submitted in writing and approved by Makkink’s Flower Farm at least 2 days in advance.
Liability and Insurance
- Responsibility for Damages:
The Client is responsible for any damages to the venue or its property that occur during the event. - Indemnification:
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold Makkink’s Flower Farm harmless from any injury, loss, or damage that occurs during the event.
Recommendation:
We strongly recommend that the host obtains Special Events Liability Insurance to ensure coverage for unforeseen incidents. For more details, visit: www.palcanada.com.
If serving your own alcohol:
- You must obtain a Special Occasion Permit. https://www.agco.ca/en/alcohol/apply-sell-or-serve-alcohol-private-event
- You must provide party Alcohol liability insurance under your own name. For more details, visit:Â https://www.palcanada.com/index.php/en-us/policies/event-hosts/party-alcohol-liability The Party Alcohol Liability insures includes also the Special Event Liability Insures, so there is no need to do both.
- Proof of the permit and insurance must be submitted to us at least one day prior to the event.
